This painting reminds me of my mother as it is a representation of the view from her window at the nursing home. She and I would sometimes just sit and look outside and take in its beauty. It’s one of those rare things that could help draw her back to herself, even as the dementia continued unabated. Mom has since pasted on, but those memories, and the Tree I See, will always be dear to me.
